Two people have died after an accident with a work vehicle in Östergötland, reports Corren.
It was around 20:00 last night when we received an alarm about an accident with a work vehicle in the countryside in Åtvidabergs municipality. Exactly what happened is not clear, but unfortunately, two elderly people, a man and a woman, have died, says police spokesperson Olle Älveroth to TT.
The rescue service tells Corren that the work vehicle was likely used in connection with some form of maintenance work on a residential building.
The incident is classified as manslaughter, but according to the police, there are no suspicions of crime.
We must initiate a preliminary investigation to be able to look further into it with the investigative measures that are needed, says Olle Älveroth.
