Two men have been arrested on suspicion of rape during a festival in Uppvidinge municipality in Kronoberg County.
It was when the police were patrolling the area during the night towards Sunday that they were contacted by the public due to a suspected crime.
There are police in the area who are made aware that a suspected crime may have been committed, says Filip Annas, the police's press spokesperson.
Two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of rape. The plaintiff is a girl who is in her late teens, but under 18 years old.
We are currently investigating the circumstances to find out what happened, says Filip Annas.
The suspected crime scene was cordoned off. The police are finished at the site, but the investigative work continues, including through interrogations.
