"Three people were killed in a hostile attack in the Kyiv region," says the rescue service in a statement on social media.
The Ukrainian air force says that they shot down 25 Russian attack drones over seven regions, including Kyiv and the Lviv region.
At least two people were also injured in a fire in a residential building.
Russia claims at the same time that they repelled a large Ukrainian drone attack against several regions – including the capital Moscow. During the night, 121 drones were detected and destroyed, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. Several fires are said to have broken out, according to Russian media.
The Ukrainian military confirms the attack and says that they, among other things, hit an oil refinery, a power plant, and an electronics facility.
