Two men in their 40s have died in a drowning accident at a bathing spot in Källtorpssjön in Nacka, southeast of central Stockholm, according to the police.
The police were alerted just before 6 pm on Saturday. Many people were at the bathing spot at the time of the incident, says the police's on-duty officer to TT.
A rescue operation was launched with rescue services, ambulance, and police.
The men were pulled from the water and taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
There is no suspicion of any crime, according to the on-duty officer.
