The Canadian director, who is currently working on the sequel "Avatar: Fire and Ash", which is being filmed in New Zealand, tells that he will now apply for citizenship in the country, where he has lived for the past 14 years.
Cameron calls Trump's re-election "terrible". He will, however, continue to work a lot in Hollywood, he states in the interview.
"I don't know if I feel safer here, but I really feel that I don't need to read about Trump on the front page every day", says Cameron.
