The premiere of the sequel "Shrek 5" is moved forward to the summer of 2027, according to among other things Variety. It does not appear why it will take longer before the swamp troll takes place in the cinemas again.
In the cast are the returning voice actors Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz. Zendaya will provide the voice for Shrek and Fiona's daughter Felicia.
The first film about the swamp troll came in 2001.
