It was in the middle of October that the family woke up to a loud bang outside the house in Vellinge. It turned out that some kind of explosive charge had exploded in the flower bed.
One evening a few days later, the daughter in the family heard sounds and discovered that the front door was on fire. After the incident, the family moved to relatives' homes on the police's advice. Only days later, the third incident occurred, when an explosive object was thrown at the house.
It is the third incident that a man in his 30s from Malmö is now being detained for. The crime classification is reckless endangerment and gross unlawful threats.
The police have previously made the assessment that the perpetrators likely got the wrong address and that the family is not the intended target.
