Doping, explicit lesbian sex, and brutal death when the hyped indie film company A24 and director Rose Glass return with an action thriller about female bodybuilders around 1989. Glass broke through with the religious horror film "Saint Maud" and has got the buzz going again in the film world for this erotic revenge story.
"Trap"
Twist king M Night Shyamalan is back with a "Lamb silent at a Taylor Swift concert". A film about a serial killer who realizes that the police have set a trap for him. Everything takes place at a concert with the fictional pop star Lady Raven, which the killer attends with his daughter. The old teenage idol Josh Hartnett seems to have succeeded in his transformation into an unpleasant sociopath.
"Divine service"
Linus Wahlgren plays the priest Theodor whose terminally ill wife miraculously recovers, thanks to Theodor's new bloody way of approaching God. A podcaster who hunts religious sects is soon on the priest's trail, and questions how credible his miracles really are.
"Do not expect too much of the end of the world"
Romania's Oscars bid is a black comedy that takes place during a hectic day in Bucharest. The main character Angela rushes around to film a safety film for a multinational company, with tragicomic complications as a result. The film has been praised at the Locarno Film Festival, where it won the grand jury prize.

British youth detective based on the best-selling book by Holly Jackson. It's about the free-thinking Pip Fitz-Amobi who starts questioning a murder where a young girl was murdered by her boyfriend. Something about the case doesn't add up, maybe the real killer is still out there?
