It will be Henrik Norlén who plays Uncle Melker and newcomer Vega Åman who plays Tjorven when SVT is now going to film its new version of the classic "We on Saltkråkan".
In addition to Tjorven and Uncle Melker, viewers will meet Pelle (Elton Larsson), Stina (Lovisa Lindblad), the Grankvist couple (Göran Gillinger and Karin de Frumerie), Tjorven's teenage sisters (Lisa Varger and Ingrid Andersson Curman), Pelle's teenage brothers (Sami Fagerström Erfan and Bertil Mancini Block), older sister Malin (Nora Rios), Vesterman (Philip Zandén) and Söderman, who in the new series is Stina's grandmother (Anna Bjelkerud).
The series is being filmed in the archipelago of Stockholm and will premiere in 2025. It will be six episodes long and is directed by Fredrik Edfeldt based on a script by Karin Arrhenius.
