President Donald Trump's administration has decided to shut down the Spanish-language government websites. The White House had previously had an English and a Spanish version of the information on its website.
Deputy Press Secretary Harrison Fields says that a Spanish-language website will be back.
It's day two (of the presidency). We are working on developing, editing, and improving the White House website.
Spanish-language versions of several department websites are still in use.
Trump removed the Spanish-language website in 2017 during his first presidential term. The site was reinstated by President Joe Biden in 2021.
