Of the large companies on the OMXS30 list, it went best for the cloud service company Sinch, which rose 2.6 percent. Also, the mining group Boliden and the major bank SEB are up, 1.0 and 0.8 percent, respectively.

In the other direction, among others, the gaming company Evolution fell 3.0 percent, the hygiene and health company Essity down 2.3 percent, and the fashion giant H&M, which lost 1.9 percent.

Even leading European stock exchanges started Tuesday on a plus, but had turned to minus by the afternoon – and landed in the red as well.

On US stock exchanges, there were mainly cheerful faces yesterday. In the initial trading on Wall Street, the leading indexes fell slightly.

Right now, the market is anxiously waiting to see how the election in the USA will go next week. According to a survey from Bloomberg, the stock market would benefit more if Donald Trump won than if Kamala Harris took it.

This also applies to bitcoin. The cryptocurrency took a big leap upwards during the night and passed 71,000 dollars – for the first time since June.

One dollar costs 10.66 kronor on Tuesday afternoon, and one euro 11.51 kronor.
