Telia rose the most on the OMXS30 index, by 4 percent. Volvo fell by 0.7 percent.
The leading European stock exchanges also rose on Friday. London, Paris, and Frankfurt all closed around 1 percent up.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the leading indexes rose after Thursday's decline.

After closing on Thursday, Apple and Amazon released reports, and after a few hours of trading on Friday, Amazon had risen by around 6 percent, while Apple had fallen by 1.5 percent.
