Coldplay star Chris Martin fell straight down into a hatch on stage during one of the British band's concerts in Melbourne over the weekend. Martin was walking backwards across the stage and talking to the audience when he missed the hatch and fell, reports NME.
Luckily, a stagehand was down in the hatch and could cushion the fall.
Thanks for catching me! Damn, that almost became a "Youtube moment", said Martin before continuing the show.
Recently, American artist Olivia Rodrigo experienced a similar incident, also in Melbourne, when she too fell down into a hatch on stage.
