"Sweden has an obligation to apprehend and extradite individuals sought by the ICC," writes the Social Democratic Party leader Magdalena Andersson, according to the newspaper.

The Norwegian government has stated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be arrested if he shows up in Norway. The arrest warrant also applies to his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as Hamas leader Mohammad Dayf.

On Thursday, Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (The Moderate Party) stated that "Sweden and the EU support the court's important work and safeguard its independence and integrity."

But that's not enough, according to the Left Party leader Nooshi Dadgostar:

The Foreign Minister has created international ambiguity about how Sweden views international law, she says, according to Aftonbladet.

The Green Party spokesperson Amanda Lind is also demanding more clarity and firmness.
