The US President Joe Biden "fuels tensions".

The Russian power center Kremlin is outraged over reports that the US has given Ukraine permission to use long-distance weapons against targets deep within Russia.

It is obvious that the outgoing administration in Washington intends to take steps that pour gasoline on the fire and provoke further escalations, says Kremlin's spokesperson Dmitrij Peskov.

The reports come from anonymous officials and have not been officially confirmed by the White House or Kyiv.

Such things are not announced. The robots will speak for themselves, said Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyj about the media reports in a speech on Sunday.
