The Royal Couple became the first household to receive the new "If Crisis or War Comes" brochure. In a month, all Swedish households will receive the brochure in their mailbox.
King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia received the brochure from Charlotte Petri Gornitzka, Director-General of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).
The Royal Couple also got to look through a so-called crisis box containing, among other things, a radio, oatmeal, and candles.
In the new brochure, people are urged to be able to take care of themselves for at least a week. It also provides advice on how to prepare and what to do if a crisis or war comes. The brochure is also available to read digitally on MSB's website.
