A large area in Kallebäck in Gothenburg was cordoned off overnight until Monday after a suspected explosive object.
The object was placed outside a location where the Israeli company Elbit Systems Sweden has its operations. The company works with defense and security, and the premises have previously been targeted for vandalism and protests, according to SVT Väst.
The alarm came in at 4 a.m. and led to several residents in the area being forced to stay indoors in their apartments.
The cordons were lifted shortly after 8 a.m. in the morning. The police are investigating the incident as an attempted gross destruction of property.
No one was arrested in the morning on suspicion of the crime.
