The electric car giant Tesla launched its Model 3 in Europe in 2019, and last year was the first year the car model began to be inspected in Denmark to a larger extent.
23 per cent of the cars received one or more remarks that led to them being rejected. A comparable figure for electric cars of other brands is nine per cent.
It is primarily problems with brakes, suspension, wheels, steering, and lighting in the Model 3 that the vehicle inspection notes.
The figures indicate that the quality and durability of the Tesla Model 3, at least the first year's models, do not meet the same level as other car brands, says Lone Otto, area manager at the Danish consumer organization FDM.
