When three teenagers from Malmö stepped off the train in Växjö at the end of July, their mission was to kill, according to the prosecutor. But at the station, police detectives were waiting and the youths were arrested later in a raid on an apartment in Växjö. Now they are being convicted of conspiracy to murder.
A 15-year-old boy, who according to witness information was the one who was supposed to carry out the shooting or shootings, is sentenced to youth supervision for nine months. At the same time, the Malmö District Court is sentencing an 18-year-old to closed youth care for one year and a 19-year-old to prison for four years.
According to information in the investigation, they were to receive 200,000 kronor for killing one or more people in Växjö or at some other location. The whole thing was revealed when a witness told a social worker, who alerted the police.
