Two teenage boys are being prosecuted for planning to shoot and kill a gang criminal man at Attunda District Court in Sollentuna, according to Dagens Nyheter.
The teenagers, 17 and 16 years old, were arrested by police outside the court on April 24, after a private individual reacted to their behavior and alerted a security guard. One of the boys was carrying a pistol in his waistband at the time of the arrest.
The target was, according to the indictment, a man in his 20s linked to a criminal network in Farsta, southern Stockholm. He was inside the court and the teenagers are believed to have waited for him to come out.
The boys, who are being prosecuted for attempted murder and serious weapons offenses, are from Växjö and can both be linked to a criminal network in the city.
The target himself is now in custody, suspected of having hired a 15-year-old to murder a gang leader on Stureplan in central Stockholm, according to DN.
