An 18-year-old man is sentenced to four years in prison for aggravated rape, aggravated assault, robbery, and obstruction of justice, committed against a young woman in Motala earlier this year, reports SVT News East.

In addition to the prison sentence, he is ordered to pay 333,000 kronor in damages to the victim.

A 14-year-old boy is also deemed guilty of the crimes, but due to his young age, he cannot be punished. However, he is required to pay 275,000 kronor of the damages to the victim jointly with the 18-year-old.

The events took place during the night between July 15 and 16 this year. The young woman was burned with cigarettes and cut with a knife. The teenagers then assaulted her while filming.

They also robbed her of money and belongings. She was later threatened not to tell anyone about the events.
