A teenage boy is suspected of having raped a teenage girl in Lycksele.
According to the information we have, it happened today (Wednesday) and it was reported during the afternoon, says police spokesperson Marie Andersson.
The police have worked on holding interrogations and securing evidence.
The suspected boy was arrested during the afternoon and in the evening, he was detained following a decision by the prosecutor.
More interrogations will be held tomorrow, says Marie Andersson.
The suspected rape took place indoors.
