Legislated working hour reduction is not to be considered, especially not in a situation where fewer are to support more, says Karin Johansson, deputy CEO of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, to the newspaper.
In a situation where the population is becoming increasingly older, more working hours are needed to secure healthcare and care in the future, according to Johansson.
The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise is also opposed to the government's goal of raising the wage floor for labor immigrants from 80 to 100 percent of the median wage.
We need an "Employment Line 2.0". This means that more people should work more hours, both among those who are outside the labor market today and those who can come from other countries, says Johansson to DN.
