It was around 21.45 on Sunday when several people contacted the police after hearing loud bangs in the area. A large police operation is underway, and finds at the presumed crime scene strengthen the suspicions that shots have been fired.

There is no information about anyone being injured.

We have one person, a man, who we believe has been shot and is a plaintiff, but we'll see what emerges further in the interrogations. It's still early, says the police's RLC commander Thomas Bertze.

The case is being investigated as attempted murder. There is currently no suspect or detainee.

As recently as Saturday evening, a live hand grenade was found outside an apartment building in Gottsunda. Whether the events can be linked to each other is, according to Bertze, too early to say.

We'll have to look into whether there's any connection.
