A woman has been taken to hospital in connection with a severe villa fire in Tingsryd. A man living at the address is missing after the fire, the police report on their website.
The woman's injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
The alarm about the fire came just before 1 pm on Wednesday, and it is still unclear how it started. There is no risk of spread, but according to the rescue service's incident commander Roger Pettersson, the extinguishing work will continue until Thursday morning.
