The police suspect a shooting in Helsingborg since two bullet holes were discovered on an entrance door to an apartment building, they report on their website.
No one is believed to have been injured in connection with the incident that occurred at 2.38 am on Sunday.
The incident is classified as endangering others and gross weapons offence.
The police are conducting a crime scene investigation at the site and are knocking on doors to hear from potential witnesses.
