During Monday evening, a 50-year-old woman was found dead in an apartment on Möllevången in Malmö.
We received the alarm from ambulance personnel who were in the apartment. The ambulance personnel thought that the circumstances were unclear, and the police were called. They had the same assessment, says police spokesperson Fredrik Bratt.
In the apartment, a 55-year-old man, a relative of the woman, was taken in for questioning.
Later during the night, the man was arrested, suspected of murder on probable grounds.
During the night, interrogations have been held.
We will be holding interrogations with neighbors and also with relatives, says Fredrik Bratt.
