The woman was arrested in the USA in May and has been detained since then. She is said to have appealed not to be extradited to Sweden, but on Wednesday a judge in California decided to approve the Swedish prosecutor's request.
The woman is suspected of murder and grave robbery after a 37-year-old man was found dead in a bag outdoors near Gustavsberg in Värmdö municipality at the beginning of March.
The Sacramento Bee writes that the woman fled from Sweden to her sister in the USA via Denmark, Germany, and Mexico after the murder. Her sister was also initially arrested, but was later released.
Several other people, all of whom according to the Prosecution Authority have connections to each other, are suspected of being involved in the case. A 19-year-old man was the first to be arrested and detained in Sweden. One person, a 24-year-old man, is still at large.
