The prosecutor has previously stated that it was only seconds from a violent act against the school children and has praised the teacher for a heroic effort.
Prior to the incident on May 23, the teenage girl had sought knowledge on the internet about how to kill with a knife and she has afterwards herself said that her intention was to kill or harm.
When she arrived at the school by taxi, the school class with two teachers had just come out of a classroom and she began walking towards them, waving with knives.
One of the teachers approached the armed girl, who was a former student at the school, and said: "You are kind and nice, I know you, you are not like that".
She then saw how the girl tried to stab her in the stomach and that the knife blade came very close, but she managed to force her to the ground.
Kalmar District Court considers it an attempted murder and states that it was only coincidences that prevented the teacher from being hit.
The teenager is also convicted of preparation for murder against the school children and the other teacher.
She is to pay 212,000 kronor in damages to the teacher who was subjected to the attempted murder and 75,000 each to the other teacher and the 15 school children.
