A suspected dangerous object was found on Wednesday evening indoors in a multi-family house in Bredäng in southern Stockholm.

The police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl does not want to comment on what kind of object it is and where it was found in the building.

The alarm came at 19:00 on Wednesday and after the National Bomb Squad was called, the residents were ordered to stay in their apartments.

At 23:41, the police announced on their website that the bomb squad had removed the object from the site and that the technical investigation had been completed.

The police have initiated a preliminary investigation regarding gross crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods and gross preparation for general destruction.
