Two men have been taken to hospital with stab or slash wounds on Gotland. The police were alerted to a residence in central Visby at half past two, after a witness heard a disturbance.
The extent of the injuries is unknown. We have initiated an investigation into attempted murder, says Mikael Pettersson, RLC commander at the police.
Three men in their 20-30s have been detained, suspected of involvement in the disturbance. Two of them are the injured persons.
It is still unclear exactly what happened.
It may become clearer during the morning when we can conduct more thorough interviews with them. Given their injuries, it was not possible to conduct interviews during the night, says Mikael Pettersson.
