The ship could be pulled off by two tugboats after it had been emptied of ballast water. It could then proceed under its own power towards the harbor and at quarter past eleven it was moored.
On board the Meshka there are approximately 938,000 liters of oil. The Coast Guard and rescue services had prepared for possible oil leaks, but did not need to act.

Next, the ship's hull will be inspected by divers. Only when the inspection has been done and the ship has been approved will it be allowed to leave the harbor.
