With 93 percent of the electoral districts counted, the Left Party, the Social Democrats, the Green Party and the Centre Party look set to win 176 seats, while the Liberals, the Christian Democrats, the Moderates and the Sweden Democrats look set to win 173 seats. However, the numbers have fluctuated overnight between that distribution and 175-174 for the opposition.
However, postal votes will be counted later in the week, which means it may take some time before the seat distribution is clear.
