A girl under ten years has been thrown out of a ride during the journey. The safety bar is said to have opened, says the police's press spokesperson Rebecca Landberg to Expressen.

The girl is not seriously injured, and she was conscious after the accident.

The girl is being taken by ambulance to the hospital to receive care, says Landberg to Aftonbladet.

The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into suspected negligent bodily harm and endangering the safety of others.

The ride is being seized for technical examination and the person responsible for the attraction is being summoned for questioning.

Värmdö municipality has now decided that the amusement park's rides will be closed on Sunday.

The festival will continue without carousels tomorrow. Safety is the absolute most important thing, says Zandra Flyg, communicator at Värmdö municipality, to Expressen.
