Totally 82,071 homes is an increase of 14 percent compared to the same period last year.
The explanation according to Hemnet's market analyst Erik Holmberg is primarily continued long selling times, which means that the objects remain on the market. The high supply is broad, 15 of Sweden's counties note record levels.
"In terms of price, the market is stable, but it is characterized by waiting with long selling times and record high supply as a result. During the past few months, the number of sales has also decreased, which has further increased the supply", writes Erik Holmberg in a press release.
The largest housing increase is noted in Västerbotten with a plus of 45 percent compared to last year.
"The development is likely linked to the uncertainty that has arisen around the housing market in Skellefteå after the reporting of economic problems linked to the Northvolt factory", writes Erik Holmberg.
