A man has been taken to hospital in an ambulance after driving off the road in Gislaved on Saturday.
It is a car that has driven off the road and into a tree at quite high speed, says Daniel Karlsson, incident manager at the rescue service in Gislaved–Gnosjö.
The rescue service cut apart parts of the car to get out the injured man, who was conscious during the work. According to Karlsson, the accident is classified as serious, based on the person's injuries.
The accident occurred just after 2 pm on a smaller road on the outskirts of the southern parts of the town, and in addition to the rescue service and ambulance, the police were also called in.
