It was a substantial salary increase for Ericsson CEO Börje Ekholm last year. Parts of the bonus almost hit the ceiling.
Total, Ekholm could cash in 71.6 million kronor, or 6 million kronor per month during 2024, according to the annual report. In 2023, the total salary landed at 50 million kronor.
The fixed annual salary was increased from 19.5 million to 20.5 million kronor. The variable compensation for 2024, the bonus, landed at over 40 million. The rest is pension contributions.
