Hefty Bonuses for Top Executives

It was a substantial salary increase for Ericsson CEO Börje Ekholm last year. Parts of the bonus almost hit the roof. Volvo CEO Martin Lundstedt earned approximately the same amount, around 70 million kronor.

In total, Börje Ekholm could collect 71.6 million kronor, or 6 million kronor per month in 2024, according to the annual report. In 2023, the total salary landed at 50 million kronor.

The fixed annual salary was increased from 19.5 million to 20.5 million kronor. The variable remunerations in 2024, the bonus, landed at over 40 million. The rest is pension contributions.

Volvo CEO Martin Lundstedt earned approximately the same as his director colleague at Ericsson. In total, including bonuses, the truck giant's CEO salary landed at around 70 million kronor, according to the annual report.
