The best performers on the OMXS30 index, which includes the most traded shares, were the lock group Assa Abloy, which rose by 2.2 per cent, and the investment company Kinnevik, up by 2.0 per cent. The automation group ABB also rose, by 1.8 per cent, and the network casino company Evolution gained 1.8 per cent.

Among the shares in the OMXS30 index, only four ended on a minus.
