Stockholm Stock Exchange started the trading week on a plus, but just barely. The broad OMXS-index increased by 0.1 percent.
The best performers among the heavyweights on the OMXS30-index were heat pump manufacturer Nibe, which rose 4.8 percent. This was followed by real estate company SBB, up 3.6 percent, and hygiene company Essity, up 2.0 percent.
Ericsson rose 1.3 percent after the telecommunications giant announced that the independent American corruption watchdog had completed its assignment.
Manufacturing companies were among the losers. Sandvik and SKF fell 2.2 and 1.6 percent, respectively.
Among leading European stock exchanges, it was a mixed bag.
During the night, it was sharply up on Asian stock exchanges, up 2 percent in Hong Kong, 1 percent in Tokyo, after Wall Street closed positively last week.
