Retail trade increased by 0.2 percent in May compared to the previous month, according to the Statistics Sweden (SCB). In April, retail trade decreased by 0.1 percent according to revised figures.
The figures are calendar-adjusted and seasonally adjusted.
"Specialty goods trade increased by 0.7 percent, while daily goods trade excluding Systembolaget decreased by 0.2 percent," writes SCB.
Compared to the corresponding month last year, retail trade in May increased by 0.8 percent, compared to 0.7 percent in April.
