Shots have been fired at an apartment door on Södermalm in central Stockholm, according to the police who have secured evidence at the scene. No one has been injured and no one has been arrested.
We suspect that the apartment in question was empty at the time and that this has been discovered afterwards, says the police's press spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
The alarm came in at 14.45 on Wednesday, but according to Wikdahl it is unclear whether the shooting occurred during the day or earlier.
We are working to determine when the crime took place.
The incident is being investigated as aggravated weapons offense and aggravated unlawful threats.
