An apartment in Gusum outside Valdemarsvik was shot at on Wednesday evening.
We received a call shortly after 9 pm that someone had shot through a window into a residence, and when the patrol arrived, they could confirm that this was the case, says Linus Maxe, commander at Police Region East.
No one was injured. The residence was cordoned off during the evening and is now being examined by technicians.
We have several patrols on site and have worked with various investigative measures during the evening. No one has been arrested yet, but we have initiated a preliminary investigation into serious weapons offenses and serious illegal threats, says Linus Maxe.
