A man in his 40s has been stabbed in the face in Uddevalla during the night against Monday. He is said to have been chased by an armed man and alerted himself that he had been stabbed by an acquaintance.
A man in his 35s has been arrested and is now suspected of attempted murder.
The only thing I can say now is that a serious violent crime has occurred in Uddevalla where one person is injured, and that we have one person arrested, says Magnus Schildt, duty officer at Police Region West.
The man has been taken to hospital with unclear injuries.
