The raid is the latest in a series of efforts and legal maneuvers against the so-called parallel system of social services and political offices supported by the Serbian government within Kosovo.
"The era of parallel and Serbian criminal municipalities and institutions in the Republic of Kosovo is ending," writes Interior Minister Xhelal Svecla on Facebook.
He lists which offices have been closed, and states that Serbian post offices and banks have also been closed during the operation, which comes just a few weeks before the parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
Serbia criticizes Kosovo's closure of the offices.
"These aggressive actions are not only an attack on institutions, but a blatant attempt to undermine the collective rights and identity of Serbs in Kosovo," writes Foreign Minister Marko Djuric in social media.
Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008, which Serbia does not recognize.
