The Ryanair plane was on its way from Dublin to Lanzarote on April 9 last year, but was forced to land in Porto, Portugal instead. The 160 passengers were left stranded overnight.
The reason was a disruptive passenger whose behavior, according to the company, led to "unacceptable consequences" for the other passengers on board.
Now the company is suing the passenger, according to a press release, for 15,000 euros, equivalent to approximately 170,000 kronor.
The company writes further that it hopes the lawsuit will deter other passengers from behaving disruptively.
