Russia's appeal to the sports arbitration court Cas, in the case of the doped figure skater Kamila Valieva, has been rejected.
In the OS in Beijing 2022, the Russians won the team competition in figure skating, but were later stripped of the gold when Kamila Valieva was caught doping.
With the rejection by Cas, the Russian figure skating team will not get the gold back.
Cas is currently handling Canada's appeal regarding the same competition and a decision is expected during the OS in Paris. The Canadians, who finished fourth in the same competition, have still not been awarded any bronze. USA and Japan came second and third in the competition after Russia.
