Parts of the roof have collapsed on a multi-family house outside Rättvik after a comprehensive fire in the building. The fire is still not under control.
The fire is still burning in some places and we have no prognosis, but we have limited the fire. The goal is to save at least half of the property, says Håkan Eriksson, internal commander of the rescue service Dala Mitt, at 3 pm on Saturday.
The residents alerted the fire at 11.25 am. No one has been injured – those who were in the house had been able to get out when the rescue service arrived.
Residents on site saw that two balconies were on fire, says Håkan Eriksson.
The police and ambulance have also been on site.
