Above all, with respect for those who have been affected and hit by this event, says Lunander, CEO of Futurum properties.
Can they talk to their family?
Of course, one must be able to have a dialogue with one's loved ones about what one experiences. But not in detail. But it's primarily about having a sense of what one talks about and what one doesn't talk about.
Over 50 shots
Campus Risbergska is the center for municipal adult education in Örebro, with over 2,600 students and approximately 200 employees. Ten people were killed when 35-year-old Rickard Andersson opened fire inside the school's premises at lunchtime on February 4.
During the shooting, over 50 shots were fired, according to the police. Andersson took his own life before he could be arrested.
The school is still cordoned off by the police, and it is unclear when the work of restoring the premises can begin.
The timeline, we naturally know nothing about, since we have not yet been inside the premises, says Lunander, who emphasizes that they are trying to "prepare" the employees who will enter the premises.
It's about having some kind of mental preparedness for what awaits when we enter Risbergska.
Nima Poushin, director of the upper secondary school and labor market administration, says at a press conference that the educational activities will be closed even next week. When the activities resume, it will be in other premises for a "foreseeable future". It may also be discussed to have distance learning.
"In mourning"
Annika Roman, area manager for healthcare and social services in the social services administration, says that the administration is in mourning.
We had several deceased who just over a week ago were part of our operations and activities, says she.
Some employees saw and experienced things that no one should have to go through - others didn't come home, says Annika Roman. The employees who were on site at Risbergska now need support.
We know that we also had users within functional support who were affected, who also need support. We know that we have many employees who are mourning the loss of their colleague, friend, or relative, and who may need our support, says Annika Roman.
