The USA has provided at least 17.9 billion dollars, equivalent to approximately 185 billion Swedish kronor, in military support to Israel since the war in Gaza broke out a year ago.
The record amount is established in a report from the Costs of War project at Brown University in the USA.
An additional 4.86 billion dollars has gone towards the USA's increased military efforts in the region since the terrorist-designated Hamas coordinated attacks against Israel a year ago. This includes, among other things, efforts to stop the Houthi movement's attacks on commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
The report was completed before the war was expanded to include Hezbollah in Lebanon at the end of September.
