Armand Duplantis and the other athletics stars will be able to earn even more money in the Diamond League next year.

The total prize money is increasing by nearly a third to approximately 94 million kronor, compared to the last four years, and is the highest since the competition started in 2010.

Each competition, including the one in Stockholm, Sweden, will have 5 million kronor in prize money next year, and in each event included in the Diamond League, between 300,000 and 500,000 kronor will be awarded at each competition.

In the final competition, there is significantly more prize money to compete for, a total of 22.4 million kronor.

"Wanda Diamond League wants to continue to reward athletes more and at the same time ensure the long-term sustainability of the competition series," says CEO Petr Stastny.
